Hi DreamensioN
No problem at all.
It's "Vee-Zoo" !
Sure - if you are not in an area serviced by an Authorised Dealer we'd certainly suggest the V-Switch route as an option if it's compatible with your car. These hand held units are only basic read/write tools after all.
Our particular method with them is this:
The unit arrives without files.
You install the unit to your PC/Laptop.
You take the 'read' file from your car via the OBD port.
You email us that file with your requirements and spec of the vehicle/mods etc
We liaise with our technical centre who prepare your bespoke mod files
We email these back to you
You save them on the unit
You can then use the device to map your own vehicle as you wish.
If your car service centre flash an update on your car at service time we need a new read file and will supply further mod files again (free of charge for the lifetime of your ownership)
The unit then contains your own original read stock file (not a generic stock library file for that car/ecu which is important for a variety of reasons) and up to two Mod files, from Valet mode / Max Eco / any blend / towing torque requirements, Blue Optimize Emissions reduction and blends, Performance, stage 2 motorsport (and for some vehicles, true max-it-race tunes which are not insured). Viezu do R&D work for some of the biggest players at the highest of levels in the motor industry and are official tuners to the likes of Oakley Design Ferrari, Ducati and Porsche and their race vehicles, for example.
Hope that assists for now,
Cheers
Simon
