The viezu tune comes with a v switch box
you can change the tune back to the original or 2 different tunes any time you like and the original tune is not changed from standard it is downloaded to the box on first read
i think other tuners dont give you your original tune back

Got any pics of this v switch box? Is it permanently in the car, or is it like a hand controller unit (like a Bluefin?).

I never heard of this tune before, but now it's on my "must research further" list.
    My car: MY18 Arteon
My car #2: MY22 Volvo XC40 Pure Electric
Her car: MY22 Skoda Octavia Limited Edition Wagon

Its a hand controled device just like the bluefin
when you want to change your tune you just plug it in and change the tune its takes about 10 mins to download
then unplug and your right to go
it just means you can put the original tune back on when you get your service then change it back after the service
i didnt like the idea of having to drive 70 to 80 ks back to a tuner if vw decided to upgrade the ecu and take of the tune
now i can put it on and off when i like

No limits from what I have seen; but I can't imagine that one would ever need to flash it more than a few hundred times throughout its lifetime.

For what its worth, even on older ECUs, I have been able to reprogram them close to 100 times so far with no issue.

    Viezu Tuning

    Dear all

I'll keep this brief and do a proper intro in due course - as we won't be sponsoring this forum properly until later this week. But rest assured - we'll be everywhere in no time. Marketing guys are doing final touches.

I should probably do a general reply to this so here goes...

A common misconception is that Viezu is ChippedUK rebranded. This is not accurate. Viezu was set up by the various directors having spent years developing strategies and business plans - they then bought ChippedUK later on. ChippedUK was a small UK based tuner, like many other tuners you see around nowadays. However in around 3 years of going 'live' Viezu is now a truly global brand with over 350 dealers in 34 countries. They are the fastest growing tuning brand in the world. They are multi international award winners for their unique mapping services. No bought in file rubbish - but rather, guaranteed custom written in-house by our exponentially growing software experts, file writers, technicians and engineers at our International R&D and Technical Centre utilising a 3000hp 4x4 dyno which is environmentally controlled, and Euro 5 emissions certified. Viezu write files from max eco to eco/torque/performance blends to stage one performance to stage two motorsport and true race mapping. Because they are truly custom files following some of the most exhaustive R&D programs around the globe, smoothness, mechanical sympathy, safety, and real world performance and economy are a given. Also, naturally, all modifications are taken fully into account during the writing process.

Our policy is 100% satisfaction money back guarantees and all mapping is insured so any problems attributable to the file or tune process are fully insured. If there's a problem, we're always here to help.

eTech Remapping is no more now - things were taking off so well we decided to stop with eTech Remapping to secure the rights to Viezu here in Australia and set up sub dealers across the states (stay tuned for more on that). Welcome "Viezu Australia" then as the newly appointed Master Dealer and Distributor for Viezu here in Australia - which we launched recently although will be properly launching in a few weeks with a couple of sub dealers to start with... and a good number of sub dealers poised ready for launch between now and Christmas ultimately meaning the need for the basic home tuner devices will minimal. Plus of course in the advent of anti tune ecu's bench tuning by your local dealer will be key and we will be everywhere to facilitate this of course.

In relation to the query on 'R's DSG - yes our tunes are unique in that they also carry a free light-map of the DSG which makes them shift smoother and faster as well as tweaking the LC... We can do full DSG mapping but we see great results on the light-map so many client's fail to see the need of the extra expense on the whole.

Golf GTi - depends which one - the boost cycle on the Mark 6 means we're still developing a motorsport stage 2 map which isn't a boost spyke to achieve gains - that's not what we're about. But the stage one is 40-45hp and 85+Nm. The Mark 5, however is an absolute hoot. Same as the 6 on the stage one Performance map but 70+hp (51kW) and 100Nm on stage 2. No mods. No fancy fuel. Fully insured.

Unfortunately though Viezu only quote economy and stage one performance mapping on the websites (even ours www.Viezuaustralia.com.au) but we're working on listing the stage 2 packages on a suitable widget for the website. We sell a lot of stage two tunes for all sorts of vehicles - from 4x4.s to hatches to luxury execs to sports cars to supercars... motorbikes.... trucks.... marine... Until then (there are many thousands to get though) please drop an enquiry on our website or me personally simon@viezuastralia.com.au - we're always here to assist in any way we can.

We will be sponsoring a great number of forums shortly so will only flit on and off any particular one so email direct enquiries are a much better bet but no doubt one of the new sub dealers will be on here a lot soon enough so a proper Viezu Authorised sub dealer / representative will be able to answer questions, if not ourselves directly, on such threads so no worries there.

However we're always happy to assist and we are available pretty much 24/7 at HQ here in Australia by email should you have any urgent queries.

Nice to see some of our clients on here already though ! Glad you're still enjoying the tunes

    Cheers

    Simon
