    Viezu Tuning on Golf R....WOW!

    Hi all

For those that are looking for a very competitively priced alternative to APR, GIAC etc, then I can definitely recommend going for a Viezu tune.
I now have their "performance" map on my R and I'm very impressed by the improvements!

Definitely more aggressive! Pulls a lot harder now and gives (as many people have said in the past) the balls the R should have had from its factory beginning. It stays nice and smooth through the rev range and very much enjoying the sounds of a harder working turbo. The stock brakes just don't feel up to the task anymore! haha

Apparently there are a few other R owners running the same tune and have achieved very impressive times on the 1/4 mile (not sure whether any of them are on the forums?). A bonus is that with all this extra performance, I don't seem to be using any more fuel either!?

The customer service received by Simon (Viezu Australia) was second to none! He's always happy to help and answer all your questions.

Can't wait to get a new dp shortly and start really seeing the potential of the R!

How long have you had the tune? Did you manage to do a before/after dyno?

    good man!

Viezu (ChippedUK) certainly is up there in terms of respectable tunes, along with all the established usual suspects.

I've had the tune on for about 3 weeks now but unfortunately no dyno figures to show (maybe down the track as I can always go back to the original stock map). It might be worth giving a shout out to Simon and see whether he has any dyno figures yet - I'm sure it's only a matter of time. Also as mentioned in my last post, there are others with this same tune, so I'm sure dyno info, 1/4 mile & 0-100 times are circulating somewhere? Apparently it's quicker than most of the other stage 1 tunes going around - Time will tell the full story.

    Thanks Scott!

Seems like they definitely know what they're doing considering people have their Ferraris, Porsches, Astons etc. remapped by Viezu. Can't go wrong with it being an "insured" tune either.

    Hey Lavna

I'm assuming you have a Golf R too? How are you achieving the increased launch control?? Is it software through Viezu???

    Cheers

    Hi
Yes the software upgrade raises the launch control to 4200
so the car will launch harder
when i ran the 13.4 the car would only launch at 3200
know that the launch control has been raised it should be a fair bit faster
