Hi guys,
New member and got the performance tune for my golf R on the weekend. Only thing I am finding NQR is when upshifting using in manual mode, there seems to be a bit of lag after it shifts.... almost like a wait for the turbo go come on boost again once I shift. Has anyone else experienced this with their Viezu tunes?

Turbo whistle is epic though!

Glad you're liking the performance tuning.

There shouldn't be a delay, however, it may just be the ECU(s) adjusting to their new capabilities as it were. Please bounce me an email with all possible descriptions as to what it's doing and we'll get Tech onto a new map for you.

Did you get it done through our Melbourne Dealer?

I also noticed this with my car. However I had the motorsport tune done rather than the performance tune. Give it about 200 - 300 kms and the car will adjust to it and the lag between the gear changes will disappear

Thanks for the feedback loulou,

Took the car out tonight and done a few LC runs. It definitely gets up and boogies. Not sure if the guy walking the dog was all that impressed though

I think I'll just bite the bullet with the motorsport tune... Viezu have been really helpful. After sale service is second to none!
