I agree with 'evilc', just drove his R and it feels like the beast is free!!! I'm doing mine too, no brainer!

The difference it has made to my car is immense
In D the power is much more linear with smoother DSG changes
In S it is ballisic but controlled.
Poers is uo 52kw and torque100nm

I can highly recommend this to any R drivers frustrated by too quick shifts in D and also cetting rid of any lag

I get hammered for it, believe me, but that's one thing I will never give up for buck.

    Thanks for the comment!

Even at $1400 with the V-Switch, it's worth it.

Don't forget also - the V-Switch holds 3 tunes (including your original). And when you get a V-Switch, you get to pick 2 tunes (Greg/Simon correct me if I'm wrong). So for $1400, you get 2 x Viezu tunes + your stock tune all on the same unit. So you can swap between stock, and whatever other 2 tunes you picked (whether they be Economy, Performance, Motorsport etc).

Ohh, and plus, lets not forget - with Viezu, you get free lifetime upgrades to the tune. You don't have to pay again each time you modify your car. There is no "Stage 1", "Stage 2", "Stage 3" etc. Just tell them you've added an exhaust & fuel pump (or whatever), and they'll send you a new tune... no extra cost.

    Hi Dreamension

For sure - and our back to stock for service program, money back guarantees, discounts on hardware for Viezu customers, and the fact we're still cheaper than our two main competitors.

Also the V-Switch is not dead money - they lock to your VIN and ecu once a tune is written, making them a one car at a time read/write tool - but - should you ever wish to sell your car you can write your Ori' stock file back to the car, and then (if compatible) can use on your next car (and just pay the tune price) or sell the V-Switch to someone else, who in turn would simply need to just pay the tune price.

And should your service centre flash an upgrade to your car, we need a new read file, and will again supply free new tunes which incorporate your flash updates. For free. For the life of your ownership of the vehicle.

They're certainly not gathering dust, Greg - we sell a lot of them - and as much as we'd love to have kept our original introductory prices we simply couldn't. However clients will more than make that up on hardware discounts on our Viezu Racing arm due for launch any day soon now test fits are happening, aside from all the other benefits of Viezu.

    Cheers

    Simon

Just got my Golf R DSG flashed with Motorsport at lunch today by John from Tigersoft. Very happy with the whole experience. +1 for John. +1 for the tune. There is no need for me to give another similar review. You can read up in this thread. The tune is just great.

I would email Simon (Director of Viezu) about that - I would imagine it's not too far off. You could always buy the tune and V-Switch now to save the wait? I definitely recommend the V-Switch - Just think if you want it back to stock before a service, there's no need to see a dealer.

Why is your avatar an ugly (I think so...) rocco when you own the much better looking Golf R?

Haha, my avatar. Was a photo I took in May 2010 in San Gimignano, Italy (hence my alias). A the time I thought it was a Golf, feel in love with the R variety and when the Golf R hit Oz shores I needed one. Wasn't till recently when I was looking back through the photos of my Europe trip did I discover it was a Rocco. So it's my pic for now for sentimental reasons

I agree with you though, the Golf is much better looking!!!!!!!!
