What kind of lag are we talking about here for those options?

Too bad they dont have a K05 or K06 - just a bit bigger than the K04. I believe there is a K24 but not sure of the specs.

Its my daily driver, and as Mark mentioned above, i dont want a dog off boost

Its believed with my set up, and stock KO4, the right conditions and race fuel its capable of breaking the into the 11's.

The thing is quick enough for me as it is now. Im very happy with it.

I think Dario is onto a good thing with the new Borg Warner EFR. its not too big so it should still provide a good punch down low

If you go bigger expect a mid 3K rpm or perhaps even 4k before you hit full boost. You can see how a DSG car would suck like this without a remap.

I'd probably opt for the GT3071 ATP kit. Cost is cheap, easy to fuel, all parts included, stock internals ok. I'm waiting for someone else to do it so they can take me for a spin. If it sucks at least I didn't have to waste my money lol.

    TurboXS Stealthback Exhaust

Anyone has heard or own this TurboXS Stealthback Exhaust?

    Golf R Stealth Exhaust

I've been told by my workmate who loves mod cars that exhaust shouldn't cost more than $2000. Milltek is touching $3000.

exhausts can be expensive but good quality is worth paying for.

Fab runs this on his R and is quite happy with the quality of the work! Its one of the better value for money dp's for the R's on the market. Eurojet is another maker that does top notch work and charges a reasonable amount. But their DP for the R is still in developement I've been told, but will be available soonish.

I have a TXS dump pipe and its brilliant. Quality is top notch and so is the performance. There are quite a few of us R owners running them with a recode tune in sydney with excellent results. There is a thread on the tune with the dump pipe in this forum with dyno charts etc...

Yep, just about all of the Recode cars are running the TXS downpipe. We all got excellent results and it's dirt cheap vs other brands.
