I have a 147TSI and my Bluefin worked fine. no bench flash required.
its only that ECU type (and i guess others too) that lacks the capability of a flash via the ODB port
    +1
my "147 TSI" was not bench flashed either.

    Hey zei20t,

No offence meant mate... It was just that I called bluefin UK 4 times to find out what was going on and even spoke to several ppl there. this was after a couple of days after i uploaded my stock tune for them to work on via the obd II and not hearing back from them. They kept doubting that I had a CCZA engine code and the general feeling I got was that my engine or ECU couldn't be tuned.

The last straw was when we went through the bench flash method which failed miserably. Just felt as if bluefin technology wasn't meant for Mk6 147tsi models...

Was your 147tsi the mk6 MY 11 models? If so, I stand corrected...

Spot on mate... But after 3-4 attempts to bench flash and then plug the OBD unit in.... Never worked out. We both then gave up as not only was the dealer buggered but i had work the next day after burning up a day off...

The current RS has the same CCZA (147 TSI) engine.
The mk6 GTi has the same engine too, but with the "B" ecu tune, hence its tagged as CCZB (155 TSI).

The engine really has nothing to do with it. The ECU does - that's why I referred to the ECU part number (tells you the type of ECU) so within seconds you can tell what the programming method is.

Hi Guy, where can I get information on the type of ECU I have on the car? Is it stated in the PR codes?

Google your ECU part number, from VCDS?
