That's great to hear there's a product out for the CTHE. How much was the damage for the ABT if you don't mind me asking? Yes, photos please!
Got sick of waiting so took a punt on the ABT Sportsline module for the CTHE motor (Polo GTI). Fitted a day ago and I am still grinning ear to ear. Top quality product, easy install (thank you Miro), all I hoped for and more.
Photos etc. if anyone interested?

Everything with the name ABT on it is very expensive. Prices quotes in euros on the German .de site are indicative. With a bit of discount I paid around $800 more than say an APR tune would cost me. I like the idea of a tune that does not require the ecu to be opened up. I like the idea even more now given the way it GOES!!
The close association of ABT and VW (and Audi) 'means' (taken from info. provided to me by ABT and what I have read elsewhere) that the ABT module takes over ALL the tuning parameters from the VW ecu, somewhat better I expect than other piggyback devices.
ABT will take over the remaining factory warranty (up to 2 years) provided there are no other mods. to the car, so that ruled out the ABT factory warranty for me. As far as VW warranty goes for me I am in the same position as anyone else who has a tune done during the warranty period.

About all that can be seen is the ABT module fitted to a bracket attached to the std. air box. Rest of the wiring harness is hidden neatly away just above and behind the ABS brake lines.

Very nice to know that there is a CTHE tune ready to go. By any chance you would have the dyno chart?
In hindsight I would love to have had a before and after dyno done myself.
Engine technology
Compares favourably with other Stage 1 tunes but I have read that torque is deliberately limited to what ABT considers the Polo's mechanicals can reliably take. Lets face it the Polo GTI 6R has likely built a reputation for being a little fragile particularly if it's not driven with mechanical sympathy.
Gains for the Golf range are much more impressive.

A little more power, a little less torque compared to the APR (assuming their CTHE tune remains untouched from the CAVE). Still kinda like the APR over the ABT but APR doesn't seem to be making any progress on the CTHE.
How long did they take to do the tune?
Well, you kind of can't compare the APR to ABT, since the APR has no tune for the CTHE engine. So, you should be saying, I like the ABT because there is nothing else for my 2013 Polo GTI.
The ABT is an additional ECU that connects to the car and takes over from the factory ECU. It takes an hour (max) to fit with all the work.
It should improve of 0-100km times by 0.3s-0.5s
