    Thanks for that Gavin,

I'll see what they say but if EVC aren't having much luck then its not a good sign.

OK just received a reply confirming that everyone with these is screwed as far as our stuff goes
Sorry to get peoples hopes up

Re the interceptors every provider seems to be using these now with limited succes. We have both the Superchips and rapid versions but I would only use these where we have no other option. Certainly they seem to work well on the new AMGs though

I guess I will probably have to look at this next year when we expand a bit as I have access to great files for all the twincharge engines and the turbo ones too.
I will post up a pic of the board when this damned update finally completes
So does this mean you are looking for twinchargers to tune in the future?

I've caved in..we are doing one next week, the car is currently going very well with a Superchips tune on it at the moment but we will log the thing intensively and see if we feel there are any gains to be made. This one has a few goodies fitted too so it should be a good example
its a 2009 with encrypted ECU but not at all like the one above

Perhaps this is better in the 118TSI thread and not this one

I was advised a few weeks ago that the APR tune is 3 months away. I am not believing that though because I was quoted by APR in November last year that its tune was 3 months away! Seems nothing is happening in Australia or the UK.

Sick of waiting so I have an ABT Sportsline module (for the CTHE engine) on its way to me.

APR Are still working on the tool, that is a fact - as you can see, it's pretty specialised. Unfortunately we don't control their electrical engineering department.

It also turns out that the CTHE is a different calibration to the CAVE, so that will also take some time once the tool is ready.

I understand my head tech will see a working prototype version in the US next week (the tool).
