The CC uses the same engine as the Passat R36, so your tuning options should be broadly similar. Several tuners should have ECU tunes available for your car, and many have good local support. APR is based in Brisbane via their Australian distributor, Harding Performance.

U might wanna upgrade the suspension? Some suspension kit works with the DCC. 2" lower makes the car look much better. I'm looking at changing the catback system. Not looking for performance gain tho.

    hi
yes i was thinking of a set of Eibach springs.only after about an inch, inch and a half, though.wanting to change the rims too.not sure if i want to go to the 19's or just stick with the 18's.dont want to compromise the ride quality too much with springs and rims.i think the 19's will look better but, just the ride.getting a white 3cc so looking at a black rim with polished machined front and lip.something along this line.

    HI
yes some very nice cars there. i was surprised at how many were the 4 cyl versions.v6 seemed pretty rare.
have you had any probs with yours, gearbox? only thing that scares me about getting this car is the gearbox issue.mega dollars if it goes bad. just so want mine now though.just got to sell my forester first.only had it advertised for a week but seems forever.
cant wait to get into the detailing of it,just love doing detailing, retired now.did a nissan cube yesterday came up so good.not very good at being patient.
    cheers

Hah Warrick yeah lots of 2.0ts in the states because V6 comes in manual only and I don't think the 3.6 engine is FSI ie the same spec as ours.

So far not a single problem for mine knock wood. Lovely car, you gotta get one. You can definitely feel the refinement difference when you jump from a Jap car.

Lower your selling price and get the new car sooner.

Yeah but if i lower it too much i wont be able to afford the cc.i am gradually bringing the price down and i know i will have to be realistic, but when i look at the dollars and time i have put into it i hate the thought of giving it away.i am sure i will get there in the end, just so slow..............
i took one for sale for a drive just to try one to be sure and i was very impressed.as you say you can feel the quality and surefootedness straight away.just like when i went from my holden to the forester.well all i can do is wait.......bugger!
i have my eye on one in sydney which has had the gearbox replaced which i suppose is a good thing, seems well looked after.

Not true; the V6 is the same engine (although detuned slightly for US fuels) and is auto (not DSG) only:
