TD1 and Golf 7 GTi tuning

I would like to find out if anyone here has successfully tuned a Golf 7 GTi and has anyone found a way around TD1?

Golf 7 GTI has not landed in aus yet so suspect its not been done...uk forums might have some info.....VDUB..

probably the same as the mk6. check viezu for winningest "track map" power figures.

Plenty of companies in Europe already offer tuning options for the Mk7 GTI, yes. They've not been discussed thus far on this site, as we haven't yet received the Mk7.

I'm not aware of anyone being able to get around TD1(*), unless they have a way of flashing their car back to stock prior to taking it to VW.

(*) TD1 is the flag VW uses to identify that a car has been modified with a tune. VW service agents now scan cars when they are at a dealership for servicing, and if the car is flagged as TD1, warranty claims etc may prove difficult.
