T4 petrol 2.5 litre 5 cyl

I'm hoping someone can provide some information, are there any modifications that can be done to the 5 cylinder to get it working a bit. Presently it comes with an earthshaking 81kw at the flywheel and about 200nm of torque, all that is way down low in the rev range. I don't tow and I don't load the vehicle up for work and wouldn't mind it if all if the engine had a bit more go about it.

I would prefer to not swap engines as the prices I have been quoted are quite expensive. Any help will be happily accepted. btw selling the beast is not an option as its a T4 Dual cab which are quite difficult to come by and I quite like the body shape as opposed to having a full van.

Surely there must be some performance options for a non turbo engine?

Plenty you can do .
Cam , adjustable cam gear , porting of extractors , exhaust , intake .
If your game you can pull the head off and raise compression and flow the head .
All obviously costs money and no-one bothers to do N/A stuff cause of the cost ...
