Strong recommendation for Australian Tuning and Performance Group

Just had my 2008 Golf GT TDI 170 remapped with these guys and I felt I really had to put in a recommendation. They fixed my (badly) clogged DPF in less than half an hour (a godsend since all the service centres were booked out for weeks/months and would most likely have just replaced it at great expense) then put a tune on...and I have to say the difference is dramatic. 20 KW more at the wheels is one thing on paper, it's quite another on the road. It's a rocketship in second. The power just keeps going almost to the redline as well, very unlike before when it ran out of puff at 3000. No spikes, it's a nice linear curve.

From a small diesel, it's far more than I'd expected. Drives like a different car - and it was already pretty good. Obviously haven't had the tune for long but so far the economy's looking good. Really impressed. Great guys, too. Thumbs up from me.

    Update:

Economy's not looking good...It's looking astonishing. If my display is telling the truth and I'm not having a psychotic episode, I seem to be getting about 3.8L per 100km at 80 on the highway, 4.4 at 100 - a full litre less on average at the very least. For any non-Australians, that's close to 58mpg. Ridiculous. I'd take photos but it wouldn't prove anything; too easy to fake it.

Where do they do the mapping? I just bought a Milltek from them. Fitting at CRD.

Thanks to ATPG, I now have a sexy Milltek exhaust fitted for a very reasonable price: http://www.vwwatercooled.org.au/foru...tml#post816318

CRD Rydalmere did the cat-back fitment this morning.
Thanks Dave (and of course CRD for the labour today).

They kept "promoting" to me a "controller that stores 3 programmes" so that sounds a bit like Viezu, they are only really starting to get into Euro by the sounds of it.

Just to confirm for you all, whilst ATPG has ties with NZPT who is Viezu for New Zealand, we do not promote the Viezu name in Australia.
The tool you speak of is a tool made by an italian company who supplies it to about 20 or so companies to use for their tunes. Its not a 'Viezu' product.

    Cheers

Alientech isn't it? I agree the switch is not a viezu product. A Viezu one is just branded a viezu one. Other brands are branded with their brands.

Gotta get in contact with BMR soon.
    Audi S3. Sold

    Citroen DS3 Dsport. Sold
