I thought I would get before and after dyno readouts to see the gains these modifications made to the car. At the moment the car has APR stage 1 tune and everything else is stock. The car got run up on Advanced Performace Centre's dyno yesterday and made 160.5kw at all four wheels. Once the stage 2 modifications have been done I will post up the results.

Will post the Stage 1 dyno graph on Monday when i get to the scanner at work
Is it me or does that figure of 160.5kwatw seem low for a Stage 1?

Would have to see a stock reading to know. Could be a low reading dyno. Will be interesting to see the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2 though.

I asked the tuner afterwards if the dyno read tough or what. He told me that it reads accurate. He commented that alot of tuners dont get their dynos calibrated regularly and don't set them up properly.

I have had my previous cars on this same dyno with low readouts also, so I sort of expected a low figure.

Other question is how long had you been running the tune before doing the dyno. Most say it takes a few hundred km's for the computer to fully adapt. Would also recommend that you get some km's on it after getting the next tune but before dynoing.

Yeah I will definately be putting some k's on it before the next dyno run. As for this one the car has had it for 6000km+ so I'd say its well and truely adapted

    Here is the dyno graph.

    Doesn't a stock R make about 150 to 155kW at the wheels?

I was under the impression it was about 130-140wkw for stock, but every car is different and every dyno is different. Also that 150-155 you stated could be on a 2wd dyno...? maybe....? Mine was done on an awd dyno.

The car now has the APR Carbonia and Stage 2 ECU upgrade. Goes into the exhaust shop on the 29th. Will update after then.
