All it is doing is modifying your DBW pedal V throttle plate positions nothing more and by increasing the apparent throttle pedal position you may also reduce the DBW delay which is reduced/turned off at some point that I haven't bothered to work out exactly.
Maybe they work very very well on NA cars- true that I can't comment on (I'll add the twinchargers too) but I have driven a great number of the 2L TFSI's now with and without the things and really........ well I'd definitely spend the $ elsewhere. We do run a big chunk off boost down low which has the effect of minimising any benefit this device might make so maybe for the more mundane options out there perhaps its more noticeable :cool:
With the editting stuff I have in any ECU's file that we commonly see here I can modify pretty much all of the pedal V throttle plate maps if I really wanted to, that's apart from the DBW delay maps which I haven't worked out yet.
