So are these really that bad for your engine, or do they actually work safely? Interested in a chip/remap, but the whole idea of misreporting fuel load to the ECU doesn't seem safe.

Why do people try and stinge out on this things. Do it right, and be thankful for all the R&D that the 'expensive' guys put into their product.
