Scirocco R / Mk6 GTI Exhaust - Same?

Hi guys,

From all the info I've collected, it seems to me that the Rocco R and MK6 GTI exhausts are actually the same. Every reputable exhaust vendor actually lists all components (downpipes, catbacks, full systems) as the same part numbers for both cars.

I'm aware both downpipe and catback sections differ between the Golf and Rocco R, but looks like the MK6 GTI is the same.

Wondering if anyone (maybe one of the vendors) can confirm the same?

Looks to be the case. See below for Milltek Turbo Back with 200CEL non-res:

For GTI Mk6:
MSAU342 (Downpipe & Hi-Flow Sports Cat 200 Cell)
MSVW351 (Front Connecting Pipe)
MSVW352 (Centre Silencer Assembly)
MSVW353REP (Non-Resonated Rear Silencer Assembly)

For Scirocco R:
MSAU342 (Downpipe & Hi-Flow Sports Cat 200 Cell)
MSVW351 (Front Connecting Pipe)
MSVW352 (Centre Silencer Assembly)
MSVW353REP (Non-Resonated Rear Silencer Assembly)

This should make part shopping a little easier for Rocco owners!
