Sachs SRE Perforamce Clutch Upgrade Questions

Hey Guys,
I'm getting the Sachs SRE Performance Clutch installed in my car soon. Anyone who has done this can you please let me know if you replaced the flywheel or just used your original? It's a massive expense if not needed! I will replace the flywheel and pressure plate bolts with new items and also the throwout bearing/slave cyclinder but want to avoid replaceing the flywheel if possible.

Would appreciate your input here greatly!

No warranty is given on a clutch if the flywheel is not machined or replaced.
Unfortunately dual mass are replacement only.

Yes I know, most unfortunate. I really don't feel like spending $1500 unnecessarily though Will just have to wait and check out the condition of it when its pulled apart I guess

if your in no rush it's worth checking overseas I'm aware the Aussie dollar is useless these days but still might be able to save $$$

Wise decision IMO.

You shopped around to see if you can get cheaper? I'd be surprised if there wasn't something aftermarket around (unless you are set on genuine).

Hey George, managed to get hold of a good quality non genuine for about $500 cheaper than genuine. My trans guy swears by the quality of them so should be cool and a bit of a saving.

Usually you can buy LUK branded flywheel for much cheaper than the genuine (which is produced by LUK anyways)
