    Rotor options???

So I'm in the garage giving the pug abit of a spruce when I notice my front rotors arnt so slotted anymore, rather they are getting quite smooth. Running big brakes and metallic race pads will no doubt take their anger out on the poor rotors. So now I'm sniffing around for some new rotors, prefer slotted only, no holes. Who is using what? What brand and series of rotors are we using? And who seems to be the happiest with them? I'm after track quality/race quality. Cheers Matty G

I was using Dba 4000 series slotted and bendex ultima pads. The two combined where no good for he road. Felt like there was only half a pedal compared to stock really had to lean hard on them to brake until there was some heat in them. But the heat disapates quick and your back to half a pedal. I changed the pads to brembo pads and was a lot better. Braking was marginal better over stock but the no fading was the main difference. Oh and the bendex pads where the dirtiest pads I've ever seen on a road car. 30 km round trip in town and th mags where black

Yeah I have roughly the same now, bout half bite till they heat up, still pull me up in a hurry however. This is why slotted only or I'll never get them warm. I see brembo are doing 'black' coloured rotors, does this wear off overtime ? I wish I could afford composite rotors, looks the bits!
