Im not saying he should be able to do the times that my r runs
Ive only been saying from the start take the car to the strip and see what it can do
Stop asking every body on the forum what their car runs with the same tune
Just get of your bum go to the drags have a good time and see what it can do
i just like to see what my car can run in real life on the track. then see other peoples times with similar tunes
    Cheers

Agree with Lavna. I did just that when I went from stage one to stage two, and saw an improvement in time and mph (Golf R). I know with the Golf R when mine was stage one (APR) I ran 14.1 @ 101mph and another guy on the same night stock (maybe an intake) ran 14.5-14.7 at 98mph. BUT and I stress BUT these cars where both 6 speed manual and driven by different drivers (Plenty of room for driver error). The mph can give you a rough idea of power difference.

PS. Lavna, 105mph for stage 1 is mighty impressive, my best at stage 2 was only 104mph.

I ran a 13.90 @ 100.82 mph with plenty of wheelspin off the line in a Bluefin stage 2+ MKV GTI . Another guy I know in a DSG 'R' ran a 13.4 @ 102 mph with a stage 1 Bluefin on the same night.

Why can't I ask people if I'm interested to find out, I thought the general definition of a "forum" is to discuss ideas and experiences? Some day I might head out to the strip to see how it goes, but it's not that high on my priority list at the moment. Plus it's an hour away and lots of bogans there.

Dont get me wrong im not having a go at you
I drove 2 hour to heathcote
All im saying is every car is different even with the same tune
so people may tell you a time but your car might be heaps faster or slower
and you might get more satisfaction knowing what your car runs
    Cheers

I take your point, but generally speaking they will be extremely close. Its driver skill and road/ambient conditions that will be the main variables
