Polo Performance mods
Just a few questions.
Has anyone used the samco turbo inlet hose? It would be less restrictive than the current one.
What intakes do you guys use?
Can you custom tune the APR?
Is there adapters for moving the AFM to after the intercooler?
thanks
Jon

Inlet pipes are a good idea, especially on chipped cars. The standard ones can get sucked in restricting the intake.
What do you want to do with the APR, they do set tunes for set mods.
Why do you want to move the MAF? The software is written to work off metered intake air, venting to atmosphere can cause issues.

Ill try to explain this the best i can.
Firstly, ecus change timing etc depending on AFM and temps.
Temps affect the density of air.
If you move you AFM **AFTER** your intercooler, you can get more accurate intake temps so it does not have to be guessed when tuned.
You can only guess temps after your IC as there
Also in relation to the BOV, im not too sure where it is located on the polo, but assume its after the IC aswell. If we can move the BOV to before the IC, its not releasing already cooled air..

You won't get a tune for that from APR. Temps are measured after the IC, you can see them with VCDS.
The diverter valve is after the IC.
