More updates on the facebook page, production airboxes now being assembled. Gearbox is in, the little baby can now leave two nice black strips on our closed test track - the diff works a treat!

    Guy,
Can you supply airboxes next week? I was thinking of getting Quattro Motors in WA to do a ECU job on my car next week if they have time? Would be good to get the airboxes installed at the same time.

What's the status of the cat-back exhaust?

    Hi Weedub,

The airboxes will be ready in Brisbane late this week.

We had not planned on doing a catback exhaust by itself as it doesn't make any HP, so we will probably only do downpipe or full exhaust.

Hey Has anyone in this thread had the APR ECU upgrade yet?
It's really hard to get info on whether its available and what difference it makes!

Does anyone know whether you need to get anything else done before or after the ECU upgrade or will it be fine without any mods?
E.g. breaks (maybe hawk pads?), exhaust, intake etc?

From the APR website I can see the performance number go to: 200 horsepower (149kw) and 223lb-ft. (302nm) of torque.
Does anyone know what the 0-100 goes to? I think stock is 6.9s.

Have not started production jigging of the exhaust just yet.

Any more info on the plate differential or hybrid turbo. I was looking at a Loba270 hybrid turbo but am reluctant in case the injectors can't manage its which wont be good as there aren't any available on the market. Are you likely to produce an intercooler for the mk2 Fabia vRS 1.4TSI as it differs slightly from the ibiza cupra and polo gti in the way it supports the radiator.

No info on the plate differential, the manufacturer has asked to keep it quiet until final release.

The hybrid turbo is our own design, its not finished yet, so I don't have any more info until it is. There will be a slight mod to the cold side intake part but apart from that it fits up as per factory.

Fueling? There are two different fuel systems on the twincharger motors, if your is the later high flow version, you should be right (depending on target HP) for a system that will support a hybrid turbo system. We have high flow pump options now - Injectors have a fair bit left in them.

We are getting the Fabia in Australia, so will look into it - don't have the Seat's here, but good to know your observations there Hopefully we will have full details of our intercooler by 20th next month.

How do you know what fuel system your running? Mines a march 2011 car.

Do you know when the 'manufacturer' are likely to release the diff, also how come you went to a plate diff instead of an ATB LSD?

What Hp do you think you'll be aiming for with the hybrid.
