Given the exchange rates I would have thought a permanent adjustment may be in order. When US APR distributors ae quoting $549 to do the upgrade, I am wondering what is going on over here - $1695 can't be serious?. Supply, demand, competition etc adds up to something, but not three times the price for exactly the same software.

I had APR Stage 1 in my Polo GTI and was very happy, but the gap is too great between the different brands so my new Golf GTI is probably going to be sampling one of the others.

So, when is this ECU upgrade from APR coming onto the market? I bet it might be after the Easter sale

Still trying to get it officially released (just numbers), it's on sale, so if you have your car already, you can get it done.

P.S. Stage 2 will take a while yet (hardware), we will be working on that over the next month to get all the pieces into production.

Any simplified dyno readings to share?

No simplified ones yet, thats what we have been waiting on from APR is the web graphs. Have 35 Dyna-Pack runs sitting here in our office if you want to see them.

Which car do you think makes more power stock? 118TSI Golf 6, 125kw Golf 5 twincharger, 132kw Polo GTI?

I think its the curve that kills it. I'm not sure if it's a car worth molecule too much, you'd be better off with a Golf GTI platform. Should scoot along well with the tune.

Hi there Mr Harding, I am picking up a Polo GTI shortly. Looking forward to the tune. Have a question about the Brembos or Alcons. Are they noisy? Or is it stock like. I'm talking clunking noises. My AP Racing used to do it, as does the PCCB on my GT3. Given this is going to be the missus' city car, it's a no no (I can't let her know I'm modifying it lol).

Why would you put big brakes on your girls car?
