Hi wasabiz, is this a geeky meet up or just casual? I'd like to come along if it's casual and I can get some good advice. Are you meeting tomorrow?

    Hi Guys,

    Only saw this thread now.

Last Tuesday I returned from another tuning trip to WA sorting out a few more difficult cars at Ramp Auto Group (as mentioned above). They have our slave gear so they're more than capable of sorting out any tuning requirements you might have. This weeks cars included fixing a Supercharged RS4 (worst tune I have even seen on a car LOL) and a Supercharged R32 plus an easy S3 8V. The guys there are well versed with the VAG's too and have a number of quick cars around.
We are one of the few people in the country who can actually edit files locally and in this case that's both ECU and TCU (DSG) so we can pretty much do whatever you want.
I'm usually over there a few times a year and even lived at Scarborough for a while so I know the place pretty well.

I'll be updating the Recode pages here a bit soon too as its long overdue

    Hi guys

im also in perth and looking into tunes. Just bought a stock mk5 Pirelli edition.

been researching a few tuners and Diy kits but unsure on who to use. Don't like the idea of being locked into Apr. seems to be the most popular tho. Can't find much info on hp-f tunes in forums.

How much do you charge for the recode tunes? When are you back in Perth? Is the tune adaptive with other bolt ons or further flashes required?

    cheers

Hi I'm most likely back there again in December just depending on what needs sorting AND if I need a holiday at Scarborough once again. Tune prices are set by Ramp Auto Group Malaga but you can see the details on my website, typically pricing should not be too much different.
    ReCode Tuning Systems
Tunes are sorted depeding on what mods you have, even if the guys do it the car is logged on a dyno or worst case road and things like ignition timing and boost are modified to suit YOUR car as we see it on the logs i.e just how it should be done. Typically If I know you are going to put on a down pipe at some stage i might sort the cat code errors (and maybe boost control) beforehand in even a so-called stage 1 file just to stop any CELs.

Reading your website it indicates that you will only tune the car if it has had your specified downpipes installed.
What if we already have downpipes installed.
Surely you can tune it regardless of what brands we have used.
