Toyo R888. Working well for me at sprints and hillclimbs.
They're wearing well and the grip is insane.

What are stickiest tyres you have used? How many KM's did you get out of them and how did they stand up to the temperatures of track work?
Below are some of the tyres which I am currently considering for my next 1500 KM's of abuse, big cornering blocks, stiff sidewalls and lots of un-grooved rubber

He helps my father and Geoff on here with their Mk1's.
The Adrenalins aren't in the same league as some of the R-comp tyres you've got there, so if that's the level of tyre you're after, you'd be best to discount them. Even the RE050, which is an OEM tyre on quite a few cars, is nominally better than the RE001 Adrenalin.
quozl on here has run Toyo tyres on his Walker Motorsport tarmac rally car in the past (I think the R888s), though he's moved to a Kumho Motorsport tyre (I think the V70A) more recently. You can get them through FSPORT dealers (check their "Dealers" page). Kumho/FSPORT are a sponsor of Walker Motorsport.
The KU36s are interesting. They're not a true R-comp tyre, but they're what I plan on running on my car for track work (at least initially) - there's nothing else I've seen on the market for comparable prices. Also available from FSPORT dealers.
Nothing to see here...
usually the better the tyre the least they last..... but always worth it!
Just replied to the other thread of the same name in mk5's....
I'm getting Federal 595RSR's for my track car soon. They aren't as soft as r888's but good bang for buck. They have 140 tread wear rating, and cost around 170 for 205/50/15's...well that's the cheapest i've seen them anyway...
The cheapest quote for r888's in that size i've seen so far has been around the 270 mark.
Kuhmos ku 31's 17*235's $159 from Tyrepower.

i've picked up a set of pirelli p-zero corsa's recently for a pretty fair price but haven't fitted them yet. from a few reviews and other tyre shops they seem fairly good.
I had these on an S3.. daily drive, and did 2 track days with them. Excellent tyres, lasted about 10 - 11 months. Only thing is, they became VERY noisy. The whinig was undearable towards the end... replaced them with their equivalent from bridgestone. Just as good, alot less noise in the cabin too. Normally go to Stuckies in Coburg/Brunswick for these tyres, about $380 p/corner... i think.
EDIT...
Oops, i lied... i actually didnt go Bridgestone... the second set were Dunlop’s DZ03G - just checked.
