Bora Mk4 Turbo

Hey guys!

i have a 2000 2.3ltr Bora v5 and i want to do an engine swap for at least a 1.8T. i just want to turbo the beast but i prefer an engine rebuild or something because it has freakin 175k ks and i want a BOV lol

please help me genius'

Just because it has high k's doesnt mean the engine is dead. Some of the mk3 guys have hit 200k and still going strong.

Are u going to be doing all the work yourself? A halfcut if u can find one will go for over the 3k mark but you would have to factor in service parts cost as well as engineering. In the end it all adds up and unless u want to be unique, going for a mk4 gti would be the cheaper option i would think.

yeh i no 175 aint HUGE but it jus keeps givin me stupid problems!!

a half cut would be cool but u cant get half cut turbo boras can u? i could change the front to a golf haha a new BOLF style!

im thinkin of trading for an audi a4 1.8t... it suits my needs, luxury turbo!! ahh i duno.. i will go to sum garages n see if they want to fit a wikid engine in it haha thanks for ur help neways mate!
