    opinions on mkv gti problem/s

    gday all
i would greatly appreciate opinions / corrections / advice on a few things regarding my beloved 2006 mkv golf gti.
    a bit of background.
Owned since new, with no problems what so ever. one very early factory recall for an ecu flash from memory.
within the last 12 months added: k&n typhoon air intake with a 3a racing pod, coil packs replaced under factory recall, fuel filter replaced, new MAF & reflashed ecu with VIEZU V-Switch Performance map. The V-Switch was purchased from the UK direct before Simon at Etechremapping became the aussie representative/supplier.
Once the car was flashed with the performance map it displayed a severe flat spot in acceleration only when the engine had been idle enough to cool down, it only happened in the first few minutes of driving & usually only occurred once or twice before 'clearing'. If the car was mapped to original there was no hint of the flat spot. By flat spot it is an almost complete drop in power with the inability to accelerate. Second gear & third gear being its favourites at 2500-3000 rpm. Some mornings it was absent completely. PCV blow test is fine, my suspicion is the DV [rev-D has been ordered from ecstuning in the states] but i would appreciate confirmation of this being the likely culprit. VIEZU UK have had no reports of other VAG cars with that problem so it seems my car specific rather than a problem with the maps. Simon at etechremapping has been fantastic in his advice on this matter.
I managed to vag-com the flat spot & have uploaded the xls file to [see below link]. Sheet2 in the xls file between horizontal entry 22-30-ish show the flat spot in 2nd up a slight hill, accelerator pressure was constant through that flat spot.
question: sound like / look like a DV problem?
flat out acceleration in 3rd up to near redline in xls [see below link]
next issue is after having the car serviced & it was running beautifully i managed to plough into a deer doing 100kph+, it was a big deer. The damage can be seen on this pic purely in the context of the next issue rather than showing a sadly damaged vw. [see below link]
Since the repair has been done the car has been running badly, after eight weeks of frustration: in this time i bought the vag com cable & ordered the DV but it is yet to arrive i finally found at least a partial contribution to my boost loss. The repair shop decided it would be ok to repair the 'lower' pcv hose [i am sure this is the wrong description but have uploaded file with marked damage to[see below link], with electrical tape. the tape had failed & the ends had separated completely.
question: what damage could result from this hose being exposed to the engine bay for about 4-6 weeks with mainly short city driving being done?
my beloved bert was last seen on the back of a tow truck back to the repairer for attempt no 2 & i have insisted on an oil replacement, is there anything else i should be concerned with / demand?

sorry for the extremely long winded post but theres an awful lot of crap involved so thanks for reading & thanks to anyone who can shed light on my assumptions & give advice!

got the car back! the local dealer checked it out & found 'numerous issues' with the repair & sorted them.
bert was certainly running better but the power loss issue was still there.
added bsh block off plate which reduced the power loss, although still very noticeable, strangely the pcv tested fine to blow test...strange. when flashed back to standard map the car doesnt show any hesitation or power loss.
added the revision d diverter valve, the original was a revision b & didnt show any sign of tears or damage. the revision d is a champ & the problem is completely resolved! woot! my guess is the revision b is capable of handling the standard boost pressure but not that of the viezu remap, the revision d is capable....
havnt done any vagcom logs yet but i suspect they will confirm what my body dyno is telling me, strong boost all through the range & the car feels like new again.
thanks top anyone to had a look at the post and scratched their head as i did.
    cheers

    hmm
spoke too soon, sadly cold engine flat spot problem still exists...many hours of googling has revealed many mkv gti owners complain of cold engine stuttering, perhaps thats it, have just done a log of cold/warm engine of the same bit of road. if anyone has an opinion on what it may be mucho appreciated
    link LOG-01-015-311-54C-1014-1031-114D-115C.CSV
the log shows 1st-2nd-3rd gear, normal city driving slightly uphill. then cruising around the corner to stop log.
the cold is the first set of data, the marker 1 in the 1st column is the start of the warm log.
the flat spot was very obvious in the cold log in 1st & 2nd gear. absent in the warm log.
seems the cold log shows boost specified matching then exceeding boost actual with the n75% reacting accordingly.
    cold log/graph cold.xls
    warm log/graph warm.xls
    opinions? help pls!?
    tia
