Man i wish i could order the GIAC tune and just plug and play it myself. Only thing is the dealers in Melbourne aint the friendliest guys around and customer service is sluggish.

Most completely stock Golf R's seem to make about 155kw (at the wheels). I never dynod mine when it was completely standard although i kinda wished i had. With the standard tune and just the VW racing intake it make 166kw. Then with the Bluefin tune added it make 186kw.

And its all plug and play via the OBD port under the dash.

Nice Lucas the Golf R stock how much kw's is that? still little confused as i was reading on there website that its just plug and play and there's no need to take the ecu out. But by my knowledge all those other branded tunes like revo,giac and APR require you to take your car to a dealership to get it down and they have to take the ecu tune out.

Thats disappointing to hear. Every customer of ours has gotten a free sausage with their tunes. How friendly is that?!

We normally have a bit of a social gathering on Friday nights which is the best time to pop down and have a chat. Both I and Lucas from Eurospeed are generally on hand to have a bit of a chat/flash cars/etc. Its also a great chance to hang out and meet other local enthusiasts.
