    MkIV Power

    Hey guys

I have a MKIV with the basic sort of mods...

    APR Stage 1 tune
    Catback exhaust
    CAI

What would be the next step for me to increase the power figure, besides going nuts with the turbo etc.

It is making approx 145hp now which is a little light

    Thanks

The next mod would be a downpipe in my opinion, followed by a FMIC. After that it's turbo, which as you point out is "going nuts".

You could do a K04 with the standard hardware but it isn't going to be a killer without supporting hardware.

Yea it's not really going nuts but I bought this as a 'sensible' car after selling my 400hp 180sx so don't want to get the modifying bug too much haha

    Wasn't sure if I would
See many gains going to a fmic with the stock turbo?

The power doesn't drop off with increasing ambient temperatures is the main improvement in my eyes. You can do half a dozen full throttle runs without power dropping off. On the standard IC, 2 good runs through the gears would see power dropping off.
