Check out the Eurojet Turbo back exhaust. Awesome value, great construction and a nice sound too

Well I can't comment or it sounds hard sell!

Just remember what we spoke about, typically yank systems are louder, euro quieter, so go the resonator etc option on US systems, and you can generally go without that on the euro systems.

I know I have a MKV but I think the two sound fairly similar. The most popular systems for the GTI tend to be Milltek, APR and AWE to a lesser extent. I cant comment on the 42DD system as Ive not heard it but from everything Ive read its a real quality product. Personally I've had both the APR and Milltek and my vote definitely goes to APR out of the two. Having said that, exhaust sounds are very subjective. Really depends on what your looking for. The Milltek is a little more subdued but definitely aggressive under load. No problem at all with drone.
The APR is feral at WOT with awesome DSG farts. Civilized during normal driving and thanks to the RSC technology, zero drone.
The only way to truly tell is to get a ride if you can as YouTube clips really don't do any justice to how cars sound in the flesh.
