Milltek Exhaust on APR stage 2 golf R

    Hi all,

I have a golf R with an APR high pressure fuel pump, APR carbonio CAI, and a stage two APR remap.

The next modification I'm looking at doing is the exhaust downpipe. Given the exchange rate, a Milltek dp from the UK look very attractive from a dollars perspective. I believe that I already have the exhaust program from APR when I got the fuel pump done. If this is correct, is it just a hardware swap?

Are there any technical differences between the APR and Milltek dp's, or is it just brand preference?

What difference in performace whould I expect from either compared to my current set up?

Also, down the track I'll probably go the full system, so are there any pros/cons with the different full systems? Im I best to do it all in one go?

Are there any members in the Brisbane area with a similar spec car to myself with either the APR or Milltek exhaust as I would love to see and more so hear it in the flesh? You tube videos can be very subjective.

    Cheers in advance

Just need to check what software is in your car. If you already have the pump stage 2 file, it should have the exhaust component already.

We have a couple of people using Milltek's, they work OK, but the pressed downturn is restricted compared to others on the market, so not as much gains.
