It would cost a lot more than an S3 without the reliablilty not to mention would cost the best part of $50k, as it's not as cheap as you think

DGen the R32 isn't a car you'll get heaps more power out of being NA. A lot of people say concentrate on the handling, I'd get the Haldex Gen II first and then coilovers & exhaust.
btw I've got the new APR tune on my 32, it irons out some of the luls in the power curve and improves throttle response. Haven't really heard any complaints, but wont be heaps more like with a GTI.
I'd be weary of some tunes out there, some people
here weren't very happy and got less power than stock.
