Connector could be corroded, could be broken wire or not have good contact with the MAF pins.

Can you give us more details about the car?
could the maf sensor plug die instead of the maf sensor itself?
car doesnt run properly with it pluged, but when i unplug the maf it runs.. and i have changed to a new Maf sensor too..

MAF's probably still gone, my VR6 ran better with it removed when the MAF blew, and even better again with a new MAF.

i put a new maf but still didnt run.. and vagcom comes up with maf error..
so thats why im thinking it might be the wiring plug..
Did you put in a new MAF? or a secondhand one?
Did someone competent clear the codes and reset learned values on the car?
