    Lowering my Tolly

    Hey Everyone,

Does anyone have any idea on Spring/Shock Combination for a Toledo?
I went into a suspension place yesterday and the mechanic there said he'd have to look into what is compatible if there arent specific products avauilable for my car....

any help would be much appreciated

    Cheers

    Ok

Went back there and suggested the mk2 springs, he said that the supplier had golf 95 onwards, are these the right ones?

because theyre only a 30mm drop, and i was wanting to go 60mm or thereabouts, help please

the mk2 is 84-92 give or take. I would think a toledo would be a bit heavier than a mk2? My book says my car weighs 960kg for the 2door mk2.

Ha ha if you put 30mm lowering springs in your heavier car it might end up 60mm lower.

That said, it's probably not ideal dynamically.

Good answer Ausgolfer, that was the first reply I thought of too

Midget Do you want springs? Or Complete setup?

Mk2 and Mk3 share springs, but are different ratings. Ibizas are a similar wight to Mk2 and probably has a similar spec spring, whilst the Cordoba and Toledo are heavier and so probably have a Mk3 spring. You can probably get aussie made ones locally wound to your unique spec for a fraction of the cost of ordering stuff in.

    Or cut em.

60mm is pretty low. Try 30-40mm on Aussie roads before going super low.
