    K04 maximum efficiency

I get the impression that the K04 can flow a maximum of 320 WHP, has any one had any experience with high flowing these things?
Any one know what they can flow with some housing machining and bigger turbine and compressor wheels?

Im not 100% sure....but in any case I wouldn't bother? You are obviously a fan of your drag racing, and have DSG. I'd be looking at a proper big turbo from garrett, which actuall has the potential. An Sr20 can spin a GT2871R pretty well in FWD mode, so the 2.0T should be able to spin something better than that (why people pay 12k or whatever it is I have no idea!)...

Probably the limiting factor is the high compression ratio of the motor....

    GT3071R Turbo kit for FWD 2.0T FSI, MKV VW Golf/GTI/Jetta and Audi A3 (500HP) : atpturbo.com

Nice kit, an actual "big turbo"....
Plenty of useful info on that site too (compressor maps, A/R's, Flanges, price etc)
    HTH....

I totally agree with you but it is always cost vs performance. I would much rather a GT30 size turbo but I have noticed K04's popping up for sale when people are upgrading.
.....or a T51RSPL would do the job

    Cheers

Which K04? Makes a BIG difference.

If you can afford it, have a look at the Frankenturbo's units. They look good.

Handy link: Turbo and Supercharger Maps

Noone - The 0025 K04's and I would not go near Frankenturbo when there are companys like Garrett, KKK, Borg Warner.... Trust etc out there.

I think they are just assembling and slightly modding the BW turbo's. KKK is not a company is it?

Not sure to be honest as I have not heard much about them, the housings look slightly different though.
