do you think the apr carbonio will work out well with the giac?
relocation for the MAF housing is only necessary if the design does away with the factory MAF housing.
The factory MAF housings generally contains an airflow straightener which helps reduce any turbulence across the MAF.
On a full replacement intake you will find the MAF will generally be relocated to after a bend which helps straighten out the airflow which can be quite turbulent after it passes through a pod filter

There was a flaw in the MK6 GTI BCS intake design. The cross sectional area of the MAF was not correct causing the car to run too rich. We have since been modifying them to re-use the stock MAF housing and they are now working nicely. Anything that follows that path should most likely work just fine.
