    Is the dissy cap ok? try a different one. And other leads if you have em.

    I agree. This should be the first thing to look at Some of the 8v leads have poor connections at the plug end (whilst the spark may jump it, it still isn't clean). Sometimes you can get a clean fire just by having someone press down on the lead connections.

    Also if the cap is black with carbon inside the spark will be jumping all over the place. give it a good clean too. Like Valver says spark maybe there but not healthy, check with a spark tester if you are unsure super cheap does one for about a tenner.

    I think he means rotor arm!!! Great stuff mate . The black carbon in the cap is a great conductor, Nice new leads cap and rotor SWEET!!!

    yup the rotor arm. now i've gotta sort out the rest of the niggles! got to make an exhaust for it asap. need a star bit to fit the driveshafts, new cam cover gasket top up the coolant and oil.... ahhh the list is soo short but soo long

    Have one, and can drop in sometime over the weekend if you want. You should be able to get them in a fair way doing them up by hand, then finish off with the star socket.
