Yeah from all the videos I've seen, yours included, it sounds like it would annoy me more than anything else. Sounds a bit like the car is sick (the bad kind) :)
Haha that is funny. I love the noise! My car is not a daily driver though.
Like I said, I don't mind the sound... but I much prefer a more subtle approach. Front mount is subtle, loud blow off noise is not.
Sooooooo, I have relented and put the stock intake back in place. All up including getting the tools our and putting them away it was a 10 minute job.
The stock sound:
We will see what happens when I get it tuned. If the intake is worthwhile power wise it will go back on. If not... well it will no doubt be up for sale.
That's fair enough. It does give more power. The new APR intake on the Polo gti made an extra 10kw on the dyno.
