Thanks for the answer. For GTI, as i said if there was available at the time i would have one, but that was my luck.
I was read for the problem with 1.4tsi engine and the timing chain, but for Golf 5 and i was thinking that VW was solve the problem with the Golf 6, and it should be ...
Im a type of guy who invest in car and never regret about it.
In the next month i will start buying the parts i need.
Saying that i was still thinking from where to get Wossner Forged Piston for 1.4 ? VW release in 2012-2013 new revivised clutch and i will talk with Porsche to get them. As i understand they keep up to 300Nm, so i wont need DSG Tuning.
Then i need to get new Water and Fuel Pump and NGK Spark Plugs
Lucifer also suggestion get this stuff:
Custom catch can setup to catch any oil from the PCV system.
Drilling out the internal engine check valve (If not CTHE and stage 3)
Custom oil restrictor (if running decat)
Strengthened oil seals (as part of the turbo hybridization process)

I guess my tuning company can make them.
So far i think Revo is good choice, cause they have dealer in my country and from what im reading they know this engines.
And thats the thing they recommend doing:

    • Turbo Back Exhaust with Sports or De-cat
    • High Flow Intake System
    • Uprated FMIC Intercooler
    • NGK BKR7EIX Spark Plugs

    Recommended Hardware

    • Uprated Turbo Inlet Pipe (TIP)
    • Uprated Boost Pipes
    • Uprated Engine mounts

    ----------------------
But for intercooler im thinking getting from Audi S3 and for Intake - ITG.

Doing the timing chain. Cleaning the valves. Boring the block and fitting new pistons and rings etc. Not really upgrading much more than the pistons but doing a full rebuild with it. As mine is a 2012 model all my injectors and the rest are all good. I'm putting a set of BKR7EIX into it but $2200 is just for the pistons and the rest is labour and small bits and pieces.

Completely wrong - i have fitted the wossner forged pistons in my 1.4 tsi, done them a couple of months ago.
This was on a working engine, no rebore etc - 76.5mm pistons. Fitted them as a precaution before getting remapped, plus allowed me to do a full head clean, new timing chain kit (old camshaft adjuster design sometimes stuck on cold start), super charger clutch/water pump (old one squeeked and slipped in warm weather)

It's early days as only have done a 1000 miles on them, but no oil consumption increase - it hasn't moved at all on the dip stick.
No piston slap at startup either.

From where you get your Forged Piston, Wossner official page or ebay ?
Also what do you thing about the thing i consider to do to the car? Are 220hp too much for the 1.4 and willl that significantly drain engine life ?
Today i was at the dealer and he also say there wasnt new DSG clutches. He say there was none upgrade on them, while i understand VW change the material in 2012-2013.
Next week i will go to other Porsche to see what they will tell me, cause i want to buy the revivsed Fuel and Water Pump.

I bought mine from here : Audi A3 TFSI 1.4 ltr - Forged Piston Parts

Even with shipping and customs / VAT charges to the UK it worked out cheaper than the going rate of about 850 euros from a German site.

220 bhp is well within the limit of the 1.4, once the pistons have been replaced the primary weak point has been fixed.

As you say the DSG clutches were revised in 2012/2013 to a harder more durable material. There have been further revisions since but unsure if there were any significant changes made, the last revision was in 2015.

Fair enough. At least now you know it's going to be solid for you. I guess there's a few of us here now that'll own these cars forever!

Connected up my heated seats this week with the Kufatec wiring loom, a climatronic switch and some 2008 Mk V leather seats. The Kufatec instructions were rubbish but the upside was i found this link to all the wiring diagrams and component locations for the Mk VI golf, which is pretty sweet...

For cars with manufacturer date before 01/06/2011 the latest clutch kit part number is: 0AM198140N
For cars with 01/06/2011 onward its: 0AM198140L

Are you planning to do all this work yourself? - as you are going to need some specialist tools, especially regarding the clutch pack. That's not like swapping out a manual gearbox clutch. Procedure for installing dq200 7 speed clutch pack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tE2lJ_3PMM4

If you are wanting maximum power i know there is a 3rd party upgraded clutch pack made out of kevlar, i have not heard much about this - like on how it handles etc, but if you're interested you can get it here: DSG7/DQ200 Clutch Pack with Kevlar discs
