There's a thread for that in the Mk6 Golf section.
I just got a my new Jetta with a cavd 118 tsi engine. Looked thru the manual but there were no instructions on how to break in the engine. Is this normal with golfs as well? I would like to know what to do and what not to do.

Done all at once or bit by bit? Wondering what the gains from each of the parts are worth...
I keep thinking about upgrading the intercooler and exhaust on mine...

Bit by bit over the last year. Intercooler is a must once you tune it IMO. Holds boost longer and far less heatsoak. Definitely put in a FMIC and exhaust. The 1.4 sound pretty good for such a small capacity engine😄

Engine sounds heaps better just with Stage 1.
Any idea what the flywheel BHP is? I know wkw is more important but for since I watch TopGear UK I prefer BHP for comparisons sake.
Flywheel hp would be around 230hp roughly.
