Too late - but feel free to slit a cut into your charged air pipe and wrap duct tape around it if you're really curious

Does anyone know if these silicone hoses would suit the 118 TSI? (closest mention is the 1.4 Polo GTI). Bear in mind I'm changing the intercooler soon (Audi S3) if that has any implications.

Quick question for Brendan - did you have to re-gas your aircon after installing your intercooler?

No, the AC condenser was moved out of the way enough to remove the intercooler.

The test fit was OK (Carbonio), a few minor tweaks & we should have it in production. A pre production version is sitting in our office if you are over this way!

I'd be interested to hear how the unit sounds vs stock?
