Got the Golf 6 GTI Superchipped!

Adam from VA Garage on the Gold Coast flew down to Melb on the weekend with a Bluefin device in hand for me to load Superchips onto my car. So quick and easy to install and the results are awesome. The car just seems to shoot through the rev ranges, particularly in 1st and second. Accellaration now is just insane.

Superchips claim 251bhp and 353Nm, up from 207bhp and 280Nm standard.

One thing that I'm really happy about is the car is a lot more responsive and most importantly, that lull in power at about 2000rpm has gone!

I also like having the option of changing the tune whenever I want, by simply e-mailing Superchips with exactly what I'm after in the car. They send a file back almost straight away with a new tune. I load it onto my Bluefin and then straight into the car, quick process and away we go.

My Polo was APR tuned so now I'm trying something different, going to try to keep with VW Racing gear (seeing as Superchips is the VW Racing tuner).

Adam was a load of help and very good to deal with, plus the extremely cheap price on the Superchips is veeery enticing

If you're interested give him a buzz on 0755 916 009 or check out Superchips - Superchips optimise the performance of your car, helping to maximise your driving pleasure., his details are on the dealer locator page.

    Cheers,
    Rhys

haha, no you dont need him to install it. he just happened to be coming down to melb for a holiday so brought it down with him. i installed it by myself. its just a matter of getting a reading from your car, installing a cd program to your computer, sync bluefin device with superchips server, uploading the file on the bluefin and then back into your car. all cables etc provided, pretty damn easy. whole process shouldnt take longer than 30 mins.

It's probably a dumb question, but I've been told no question is a dumb question when I was young...
Anyways, does installing the chip void your warranty?

A question that is asked many times... The warranty is only voided if it is found that the chip (or any aftermarket component) has contributed to a failure...
