    Mystically!
I have a b7 passat with 125 tdi I am looking to tune.
How is your tune compared to say APR, ottienger etc?
Also did you get a dyno after the tune?

APR doesn't do diesel, so I don't know. I also haven't tried Ottienger.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd go Darkside Developments because >omg hard cut on redline<

I've had it dyno'd... Stock was 135kW/361Nm @ the fly; Stage 2 is 150kW/361Nm @ the fly... Something strange going on, but I think it has to do with the lack of resistance on the rollers on the dyno, as boost took up until 3k rpm to actually come up, and the torque curve is nothing until 2,750rpm, then goes straight up. Have to have another dyno run with upped roller resistance I think.
2012 Octavia vRS TDI. Darkside big turbo, 3bar tune, other stuff. 200kW/650Nm.

    1985 Mazda T3500 adventuremobile. 1973 Superbug. 1972 Volvo 144 in poo-brown.
    Not including hers...

For $1750 it only shaves .4 seconds off the standard 0-100
What about Revo is it the same or more?
I was hoping it would shave atleast 1 second off

Guy won't tell you about the competition because he's plugging his own product (fair enough).

You should check out the the DTUK tuning box, Revo, GIAC, CustomCode, DNA Tuning, ParsoRex for Bluefin & custom tuning, Viezu, etc. basically trawl through the forums & note all the tuners then email or phone direct.

All of the tunes will give similar results the main difference being how the power comes on. The limitation is your turbo.

I find it hard to believe that the Oettinger tune only gives you 0.4seconds improvement. I think they are being very conservative or they have done the test with the M6 & there's a gear change at an awkward spot. Note they give the same figures for DSG & M6 so something isn't right.

From our own testing, the Oettinger claims are extremely pessimistic. We have managed to better them every-time we test with our own Vbox.

The German laws & TUV regulations have a fair bit to do with the advertised numbers
