They must be well less known than anyone else in Australia.

    What about a link?

TBH it's difficult to recommend any tune above another especially on a standard car. None of them are streets ahead of the others. There's a finite amount of power available without causing something to fail.

So the choice is really driven by price, availability, support and whether you like the supplier. Before parting with your money on an unknown (in Australia) tune. You would be well advised to seek out all the others.

In no particular order Custom-Code (because that's what I sell ) GIAC, REVO, Spectune, Superchips, DNA Viezu etc

I'd really only recommend purchasing tunes from one of our forum sponsors.

If they're not on this forum then they're likely not doing any business in Australia. You're much better off going with a local tuner where you can get support.

There's plenty of options so suggest you do some research and talk to a couple of suppliers/workshops in your local area.

Also a lot of tuners have modified their tunes to suit local conditions in terms of ambient temps and fuel (amongst other things).

I believe you'll also find the stock cars are detuned for poorer quality fuel here compared to overseas models. So tunes for (say) Europe may not work as well here.

Joe, I see your signature shows you already have a Stage 1 tune,

If its not APR - how about we give you a free trial of our new Version 3.4 including dyno runs against what you already have as mentioned by Gavin above -
"Custom-Code (because that's what I sell ) GIAC, REVO, Spectune, Superchips, DNA Viezu etc"
And that includes driveability & torque (the area under the dyno curves).

We are very happy to put our money where our mouth is as we know we have the best software on the market. Almost 750 Golf R customers will back us up.

Or you could even use ours after trialling the one mentioned above and then compare that to the earlier dyno runs

I am 110% impressed with APR's v3.4 tune. My car had over 200awkw (independent dyno) prior to v3.4 and since getting 3.4 put in its transformed into a whole new car. Pulls substantially harder now. I can't wait to see the new numbers it makes.

I am not affiliated with APR in anyway I'm just expressing how impressed I am with their tune and service they offer.
