I was talking to Guy yesterday via phone and I asked about this. It seems that they just ran out of time before the MOTOR Challenge and visits from APR USA staff and a few other projects that they had. So this has been on the back-burner a bit.

I too can't wait to see what this engine package can do, in combination with the DSG gearbox, once they sort out the DSG clutch and software issues!

We have been working with APR on a new cylinder head with the oversize valve set, and we have some new camshafts with some very neat "special" features (not the valve lift part of the cam), it's been a bit to & fro with the US, so it's on the backburner for a little bit (been working on two other major projects), hopefully it will be back on track by the end of the month!

Damn so the motor is getting serious attention. Would hate to see the cost involved now!

Yes, it's not a cheap motor, but how do you improve on stage 3? (and lots of labour too) - anyway, we all have to have a hobby, keeps us off the street

Actually Bwen - I forgot the TT - so that is three other projects not including the R - The cage is now fully finished in the TT, and the custom fuel tank is going in in August!

The Polo has its new trans with clutch diff, the Cayman has new stand alone engine management & a new hybrid turbo system on it.
