I have the VWR intake and a Full Exhaust and it is quite loud from both ends of the car.

One other thing to consider is an Intercooler upgrade, this will help with the heat factor and minimize the ECU sucking precious power away when intake temps get a bit high.
Sounds something I would like to have at this stage.

will save the CAI and exhaust change for the later. Do you suggest the rail valve needs to be changed at the same time with the HPFP?

He is an assclown but you are right about everything else

If you can cough up the extra cash you should do it. The rail valve sets the highest pressure in the fuel rail before its bypassed so by upgrading it you can consistently run more pressure and more power!

Not meaning to hijack the thread. But I would like to hear your opinions on what's the best fitting catted/resonated downpipe available these days?

Thats wonderful...........apart from the excessive ramp rate used which doesn't load the car up properly. Fine for a big turbo car though but not our ones

See if it was like this one from last week (almost complete here) then it would be more realistic.

See 225 is pretty much beyond the realms of possibility with the turbo unless you are doing things to improve the efficiency of the whole package the turbo is maxed out absolutley as we can see here

With a 98RON WMI K04 car - also from last week, optimised timing and boost mapping so there is just nothing left in the top end.
    Thats real

Not our dyno, so no idea - as mentioned, it was a VW / Audi dyno day from Adelaide - that's several thousand km's away from us. Are you saying that a Mainline operator can fudge figures?

So that's a race car with WMI injection? We are talking about street legal cars I thought (based on the original poster) that run 98 ron & have legal injection & emission systems. If the Mainlines can be fudged as you imply above - how do we know about the ones you show?
