    Golf R Mod Advice

    Hi Guys,

The mod itch is starting to bite with the R. My logical side is trying to tell me to hold to make sure there's no issues with the DSG but realistically I will mod this car. So I've been doing some research and this is a bit of a list and in the order I would get them (not all at once obviously).

Just wanted to get advice on if I should change anything or other mods that are more beneficial/important.

I would like to track this car occasionally, I never took the leap with the Polo and regret it.

    Mods:

DNA Tune (Stage 1 Aggresive and Stage 2)
    Eurojet FMIC
    42DD Downpipe
    KW V1 Coilovers
    Whiteline Front/Rear Sway Bars
    VWR Intake
    HPFP

    Advice??

    Looks pretty tidy.

Maybe a DSG tune into the future. But apart from that all good.

DNA is getting some good results.

I would also seriously consider the VWR (Vibratechnics) "Fast Road" mounts, reduces the slop of the engine/trans movement and drops the centre of gravity of the front of the car without lowering it. With the stock mounts its like swinging a bucket back and forth with a 2kg weight at the bottom.

Also the super pro alloy lower control arms.

These two things will transform the turn in and steering response of the R.
