    Hey Capercat thats what I thought. I wanted to know more so, which of these cars would bust a 12 sec quarter and with what what mods?

    Id be impressed if a tune and exhaust =12 secs on the quarter on any of these cars.

    Maybe with a full change of turbo injectors etc maybe?

    Anyone here done it themselves? Quarter times + mods done please!

    I'm pretty sure in the states there are cars stil lwith KO4 (standard turbo) with just the basic bolt on mods (tune/exhaust/intake/pump etc) that are in the high 12's. This is outta my proper knowledge base what it was noted earlier in the thread.

    The GIAC'd Pirelli who popped up earlier should definitely be in the 12s, traction permitting though (GL Dean!)

    Robby whose S3 was in the motor mag challenge ran a mid 12 quarter IIRC with just bolt on mods and a REVO tune.

    Can be done on a KO4.

    Then go a big turbo (VF RSR, APR Stage 3) both use a GT28 framed turbo, Im pretty sure AWE has a 3037 sized huffer in a kit for decent coin (6k roundabouts too) for proper quick drag times.

    So an S3 clocked a 12.7 with a K04, that's solid. Know what mods?

    And a GTI just ran into the 12s with 12.9! And this though had a different turbo on it, and I'm assuming different TBE iIC TUNE etc..

    I wanted to know about the Ko4 cars specifically but it's good to know you can mod a GTI into the 12s!!

    The S3 (from the notes in the video and recollection from other forumS) had Bilstein PSS10 coils, Revo Stage 2+ tune, APR fuel pump, Milltek turboback exhaust, maybe a few other things? But still on the KO4. Essentially a Stage 2+ car (like what we are talking about here). There are plenty of S3's in Sydney with the same if not more mods, so plenty of 12 second cars out there.

    That GTI is the APR Australia car. It has everything. LSD, Semis, 11.750 worth of Stage 3 GT2871R fruity goodness. Was for sale recently for 55k??

    Was hoping you wouldn't say that. A fair wack in the mid range would be nice to have! Might have to save a few more coins and just do pump and dump at the same time.... thought i'd get away with this one cheaply
