had the r re flashed with APR stage 1 been a little over a week now. i am not impressed at all with the power delivery. i would say 20 kw increase 40 in torque. the standard car was much smother and felt nicer to drive.
But it is temperamental one day it feels quicker and the next like a wet spud and its been cold weather.
to be fair i held of on my post till i gave the ecu some time to learn?
i did book for version 3.1 with upgraded hpfp had no fuel pumps but a local dealer whom i did not use did have 2 in stock. i was going to buy from him fit it and have everything done at once. this way at least ill get a comparison on what has been advertised, though i am beginning to think i will be let down.
so id say i got the thanks for coming tune stage 1 until it gets re flashed with one for the pump.( could APR not have borrowed stock from one of its agents).
in addition my dsg fault which seamed to have been rectified at the last dealership booking is back.
i am not sure about any claims in power or drive-ability that version 3.1 with pump would produce.
ill post back when it gets sorted out.

p.s Had the re flash done by BWR in seven hills very professional and prompt. booked for 1pm i got there 1.05 just as they finished lunch
they jumped on the car straight away take your time if im on the road again at 2pm im happy as i needed to grab a bite to eat.
this allowed me to keep my 2.30 appointment ........ now that's service.
    NICE ONE

If it's not too late for you to get your tune returned and car returned to stock, I can offer you a trial via our SRS-II unit as a comparison. We offer a full 14 day money back satisfaction guarantee so if it's not 100% up to your expectations, no questions asked!

Thanks Lucas; =) that's more than I expected from our aggressive Stage 1 tune to be honest! I'm sure your downpipe and intake helped several kW, but over 200kw is quite a feat; bet you can't wait to load on the Stage 3 file when your IC and HPFP mods are done, ha.
