Good opportunity for some comparisons at this event:

I know there is a certain S3 that lives very close to there. Maybe he can get a pump on and the revised tune to see how it goes.

Golf R 5 door, DSG, EVOMS CAI, TXS DP, Recode Tune.
Sammy, we need to run our GTI's together when they are both finished.
I have one Golf R up for a comparison dyno & data log in Brisbane, any other takers?
We have a few more to run in Sydney if anyone is up for it. (March / April)
Oh, no file changes for any standard type intakes required on stage 1 (BSH, Neuspeed etc) so no reflash required.

Good Idea! - We were hoping to hold a Golf R one only with all the data, Todd & Craig can do about a dozen cars with all the runs and data in a day. Costs a bit more, but everybody leaves armed with all the data why their cars make what power & torque.
hello Guy
will go with this tune by the 21st ill call you later to confirm. your fair discount structure for easter is what sold me.
then off to dyno day i go. will get it done at BWA Auto in seven hills
so i need a pump version 3.1 tune and should hit 195 - 200 conservative?
i am more intrested in larger torque figures myself as on the road thats what counts.
cheers

On the dyno day (29th) I will be running the below mods, should be interesting to see what numbers I make.
APR stage 2+ 3.1
APR Divorced DP
HPFP Fuel Pump
Milltek Catback non resonated
Forge Wintake
Neuspeed K04 Turbo Discharge Pipe
BSH Integrated Throttle Body Pipe
RS4 Fuel Valve
GOLF R - CW - MY10 - 3Dr - DSG - LEATHER - SUNROOF - RNS510 - DYNAUDIO - MDI - 19" Black Talladegas
APR STAGE 2+ - APR Divorced DP - VWR Intake - RS4 Fuel Valve - Neuspeed K04 Turbo Discharge Pipe - BSH Throttle Pipe - HPFP Fuel Pump - SPM FMIC - Hawk Ceramic Pads
I think we have a couple of S3 owners going to the dyno day as well as the two R's above.
Not sure what they will make on the Mainline - should be around 190 with tune / pump standard intake. 200 - 205 - 210 with VWR intake, pump and exhaust.
Make sure you get your intake temps measured (VCDS is great for this), as the power output will directly correspond with this figure.
The MAHA dyno we have been working with at BWA is awesome, it reads differently to a Mainline, DD or Dynapack, but its ability to give a crank figure is brilliant - you can even run it in different gears (and get different wheel figures), and it calculates the losses back to the crank figure.
Oh and Berger is correct - have a good look at the produced torque curves, that tells a bigger story on the drive-ability!
How about a dyno day on the MAHA dyno ? Its close to me so I'll bring the race car down too .

When is there going to be a dyno day in Brisbane.... You got plans to host one Guy?![]()
